Hello all,
will the bananawing connected by USB to the chimp 300 ?
if yes and i connect a second touchscreen with USB to the chimp 300.....
am i missing an USB connector then ?
So i have to use a USB hub ?
The idea should be NOT to have too much single parts flying around like an USB hub....

Hi Sascha,
yes, the Banana Wing will communicate by USB to a Chimp console.
the Banana Wing has a usb input and output on the back, so there shouldn't be a problems connecting your touchscreen via the Banana Wing.
hope this info helps.
Hey Ron,
thats great....thanks

here is our configuration:
a chimp 300 and a banana wing
we would like to connect a touch screen for the banana.
we agree we must connect the touch screen to the banana in usb and also in hdmi on the chimp 300?
Hi Marcellinio,
there are 2 ways you could connect the touchscreen:
1 use a powered hub from chimp input, and connect wing and touchscreen onto the powered hub
2 connect the wing to the chimp usb input, and the touch screen onto the wing.
HDMI from the touchscreen should indeed be connected directly onto the chimp.
benefit of using a powered hub, is that you can connect and disconnect both wing and/or touchscreen apart from each other.
also an usb hub increases the usb connection stability, which is also good to know :-)
Also, some touchscreens do actually have an USB hub built in, which (usually) is also powered giving you enhanced stability.
Then the path would be
HDMI: Chimp -> Touchscreen
USB: Chimp -> Touchscreen -> Wing, etc.
