I found out, that the software crashes and reboots sometimes when you press REC and change the content selection. Didn't get the exact sequence when this happens, but try the following to reproduce:
REC, REC, REC, Content, REC, REC, REC, Content, Content, REC
Hopefully you should experience a crash.
Had this with V2.1 on my Chimp 100

This sounds the same as I reported a couple a weeks ago. 
But I couldn't reproduce it.
