Hi ! My Chimp 100 had suddenly no DMX Output.


after 45 Minutes waiting ( Desk was off ) it works.

There is a other user in the Facebok Chimp Forum with the same Problem.



Hotsound Store is in contact with you about my desk but i did not get a answer jet !

What can we do ???????

Hallo, könnte es sein, das sich im Pult eine Steckverbindung, bzw. eine Karte gelöst hat? Sonst würde ich auf eine kalte Lötstelle tippen wenn es nach 45 Minuten plötzlich wieder funktioniert. Dann ist das Board ja schön warm ?

to be honest, best solution is to return the Chimp to your dealer and let them or Highlite have a look at it.
I would NOT recommend to solder anything by yourselves, as this might damage the device and void your warranty.

We discovered rare cases where the USB Stack that manages communication between the PCBs and the Console OS got stuck - the next Version contains an update to the USB Stack, so this issue should not happen again.
