Hey guys, i have a question Smile

Today, i wanted to creat a movinghead Wash/Zoom fixture manually. This movinghead has 19 LEDs, In 34Ch Mode it is possible to controlle LED Groups seperately. For example: The upper half LED ring, the middle LED ring, the center LED and so on.

The Channel discription says something like:
CH6 LED Group 1 Red
CH7 LED Group 1 Blue
CH8 LED Group 1 Green
CH9 LED Group 1 White
CH10 LED Group 2 Red
CH11 LED Group 2 Blue
...

there are 5 Groups.

The question now is, is it possible to creat such a fixture within the Chimp 300 or isnt this even possible. If it is, how?
I think you get where the problem is. As setting RED, GREEN or BLUE to multiple channels within ONE fixture isnt possible.

Help Smile
Hey Tobii,

At this moment the Chimp does not support multifixture, but there is a work around.
The best thing you could do is to patch the LED groups as separate fixtures.

So for your fixture it wil be something like this:
CH1-5 is your control fixture;
CH6-9 is your first LED group fixture;
CH10-13 is your second LED group fixture.
....
Hey guys,
same problem here with multifixtures,
With this workaround I can only use a half or a third of the fixtures I'm limited to.
So I could only Patch 4/8/12/16 (100/100+Wing/300/300+Wing) ADJ  Beam Matrizes even if those 25 Channels per Fixture are only Dimmer Channels and the Universes are not fully used.
Maybe there is a possibility to integrate a kind of compound or multi fixture?
I often use LED Bars with Single Pixel Control for FX on the Backdrop, on 20m Stages it's impossible at this time.
