External Monitor View Switch - LeonTheo02 - 11-08-2021

We recently got the Lampy 20 2U and really like the idea of being able to connect an external monitor. We often use that one more than the inbuilt touchscreen as it is way easier to see and manage (especially with mouse and keyboard connected).

What now often happens is that I am on the fixture view and wanna create an effect, but I can only do that on the inbuilt touchscreen not on my big screen which is way easier to see. Maybe just add a button where I can switch around the screens so that the internal one displays what the external one would and vice versa. (Or like it is on startup, that I can just let the internal screen mirror the external one)

Hi Leon,

Thanks for your Feedback!

I like the idea, however the internal UI has been developed for the resolution of the internal screen and is not optimized to be scaled at all - to add the possibility to do so would result in basically rewriting the whole UI for the external screen.

At the moment also there are no Feature updates planned, but I’ll add it to our ticketing system for future reference.

Oh yeah that makes sense...
Maybe a different way of doing it would just be adding the effects editor to the external screen? Thats the main one I would like to see be useable from there. The other pages are only really needed during setup or are already on that screen  Smile

(Maybe also Cue Editing and not only viewing, but I guess that one would be more difficult to add)
