Store a Position out of an Effect - GHOSTlight.de - 25-07-2022 Hey, is it possible to store a position from an effect? I mean, if i have about 20 moving lights, it would be faster to store a position from an effect than to place all 20 lights individually. RE: Store a Position out of an Effect - dd-dietrich - 25-07-2022 what do you mean by "effect"? You can use selection and alignment tools for the placement of your moving lights, what would be the bennefit by effect? RE: Store a Position out of an Effect - GHOSTlight.de - 25-07-2022 like select all lights, add effect (circle CW / CCW), add an offset, rotate until it looks good ans store only the pan and tilt values. No, that's not possible. You can create for e.g. a p/t preset safe it, use it in a chase, change those preset and it wil change in you're chase also. But store a moment out of the effect engine (e.g. paused the effect at a nice moment and safe it) no it can't. RE: Store a Position out of an Effect - panczyk87 - 06-09-2022 Thanks for that question and answers - it has been boggling my mind for a while now. Thanks again! It sounds like you're discussing a method to efficiently store and apply a position from an effect to multiple moving lights. This approach could potentially save time and streamline the process of positioning multiple lights. Many lighting control systems allow you to store cues or presets. A cue is a snapshot of the state of all controlled parameters at a particular moment. Presets are specific settings for individual parameters. You can store the position, color, intensity, and other attributes in a cue or preset. |
