Students should complete the ACT as soon as possible in order to maximize their test results. Many schools require students to take the ACT on the first day of classes. Students who take the test on the first day of classes are often offered special accommodations and may receive additional test time. If the student cannot attend the college or university on the first day of classes, he or she may be allowed to take the test a second or third time, provided the test is taken at a time convenient to the student. |
