All off except
Posted by: Foxpower - 02-03-2021, 03:57 PM - Forum: LAMPY Feature Requests - Replies (1)

It would be good to have a command "ALL OFF- EXCEPT". You want to RELEASE(OFF) all Cuelists EXCEPT the Frontlights or others. Shift-OFF - Releases all even the Frontlight and Positions of the movingheads...or a command " Don't release if overwritten" would be great.

  Fixture Exchange
Posted by: Foxpower - 02-03-2021, 03:52 PM - Forum: LAMPY Feature Requests - Replies (2)

When you use a factory fixture, and you want to change (default) somthing, you have to programm the whole movinghead again (fixtures, color, beam, prism, position etc.) It would be so cool if we can change the fixture without programming the whole movinghead again....

(LAMPY 20, 1.01) Bug Report: ETC Source Four Lustr 2 Fixture library entry no showing
Posted by: ruyan - 23-02-2021, 12:05 PM - Forum: LAMPY Fixture Libraries - Replies (5)

Post body:

Type of the Desk: LAMPY 20

Software Version: 1.01

External Display Connected, is a touchscreen?: no

Connected USB Devices: none

Networked Devices: none

Description:

While patching my ETC Lustr 2 I noticed that it doesn't show the correct channel mode description. It seems like instead it shows the raw format in whatever format the fixture library is written in.

Steps to reproduce:

Go to patch -> manufacturer library -> ETC -> Source Four LED Lustr 2 and look at the channel mode selection on the right.

Expected Behavior:

A readable selection of the available modes

Observed Behavior:

A rather cryptic selection of the available modes

Additional Information

I don't know if this is a restriction of the board (which would be a real shame and could be the killer for me) but the ETC Source Four LED Lustr 2 has an extra +7 channel mode that can be selected on top of any of the available DMX modes. Essentially it's a direct color control instead of simulated RGB access.

This mode doesn't show while patching but would be great to have.

Post body:

Type of the Desk: LAMPY 20

Software Version: 1.01

External Display Connected, is a touchscreen?: no

Connected USB Devices: none

Networked Devices: switch and router / directly on router

Description:

After the first start I wanted to check for updates and tried to get the board connected to the internet.
I tried DHCP as  well as manual IP, had it on a unmanaged switch that is going to my router and even on the router directly. No luck.
It always says no connection, check cable (I tried two different cables, both work on my workstation)

Steps to reproduce:

Connect ethernet cable, try to online update software or fixture library

Expected Behavior:

A server connection

Observed Behavior:

No server connection

Error AtlaBase IW 741 'Control' section
Posted by: Karel - 21-02-2021, 05:51 PM - Forum: Chimp Fixture Libraries - Replies (2)

Hi there,
Running a Chimp 300.G2 (version 1.12) I ran into a problem with the AtlaBase Library for the Infinity IW 741.
When select 1 or more fixtures the 'Control' section gets greyed out.
Funny thing about this is that, when I import the fixture file provided by Highlite (when I was running the desk in version 1.11) it all works fine. So it looks like there's a problem with the AtlaBase Library.
Kind Regards
Karel

[Fixed in 1.02] All, v1.01 - Library / Show Import may fail
Posted by: denishessberger - 11-02-2021, 06:10 PM - Forum: LAMPY Bug Reports - No Replies

We have identified an issue in the software where files can not be imported again if they have been renamed after export.

As a workaround either set the name directly in the software prior to exporting, or if you have a file that was exported earlier where import fails:

Copy the file to another folder on the computer.
Rename the copy's file ending to .tgz
Unpack the .tgz using a Compression Utility such as archiver in MacOS or WinRar in Windows.
This will create a new folder named after the file. Open this folder. In the folder you'll find a .lib or .show file, copy and paste the name before the .lib or .show file ending.
Rename the file on the stick to this name.
Import again.

We have entered the issue into our issue tracking system, but no ETA on when this will be fixed yet.

Sorry for any inconveniences,

Denis

  MultiCell Fixtures / Fixture Request
Posted by: Sascha75 - 09-02-2021, 06:59 PM - Forum: LAMPY Fixture Libraries - Replies (10)

Hello everybody,

I got my Lampy 40 last week.
Unfortunately I have to find out that some fixtures don't work,
For us it concerns the following fixtures:

Stairville CLB 4 in 14 channel mode (included in 7 channel mode) we need 14 channel mode,

Cameo MultiPar COB 1 17 channel mode

lightmaXX VEGA HALO 90

Varytec Hero Spot 90

The Atlabase database contains you.
Please improve there.

We bought the Lampy 40 2 U because the advertising promised a lot and we wanted to get away from a PC version that kept crashing.
Basically the Lampy 40 is great, but if our fixtures don't work in the Lampy, then the desk is not an alternative for us and we have to return it.

A Chimp 100 is just not in our budget, we are a small band and 2500 € for a lighting desk is quite a number.
Could you realize that these fixtures are available in the Lampy 40?

Thank you
Unfortunately, my English is not that good and I had it translated with Google Translator

[Fixed in 2.0] Chimp 100, V1.12, fanning Values
Posted by: Tom TK - 31-01-2021, 08:54 PM - Forum: Chimp 1.12 Open Beta - Replies (2)

Running Chimp 100 V1.12 beta with one touchscreen connected and two dmx outputs in use.

When i try to fan my P/T position it only work when there are values in the programmer. Most of the time i make a base position (straight forward) and from there on i make my other preset positions. But when i want to use the fanning option nothing happens.

The name from the preset will appear in the programmer and then i cannot use the fanning options.
But when there are just values in the programmer the fanning works just fine.

This is also happening on the OnPc version that i use at home.

Hope this will be checked  Smile

Best Regards,
Tom
