Speed of rotating gobo - Jörg Deymann - 08-04-2021

How can i create a setup using faders for speed rotation of Gobos. I have tried to create a cue.
1. Select Programming, Fixture then Gobo and Rotation to 255, then rec and then one of the left fader areas selected.
Maybe i am on the wrong way.
I have a chimp 300.
Can someone help me?

Hi there,

did you try changing the Fader Mode to Infade? You can do so by pressing the Edit Button, followed by one of the Buttons from the playback.

Yes, but then the rotation will only switch between on and off

Ah yes - then make sure the GoboRotation Channel is set to Fade in the Library of the fixture Smile
You can do so by clicking on Setup, Fixture Library, select Show Library, select the Fixture Type, click on Edit in the Toolbar of the window.
Then look for the Gobo Rotation channel and double click into the Column that says “Snap”. Save the fixture type - and there you go ;-)

Yeah, that worked Smile Great, thank you Big Grin
Now I know too, how to create own fixtures.

I had the same problem and changed the Fader Mode to Infade. It worked. Thanks for the thread help.
