The on-pc version is available since v 1.10, and it's extremely helpful for patching and layout creation, but it's become useless if you want to pre-program your show.
We really need a way to connect chimp_on_pc to main visualizer sw.
-the idea will be create your own protocol and ask to implement it in (capture-wysiwyg-lightworks-etc).
-another idea can be create a piece of software to install next to on_pc (something like connectivity driver).

Hi Gabe,

we see and understand the need for something like this, but at the moment to be honest we have too many other things that are high up on the list.

If we create our own protocol we will also have to develop our own connectivity drivers, which, to keep data secure and to make it work and interface with the different visualizers (they all have their own API's there is not one common one-suits-all approach) is quite a task - in fact it would probably eat up the whole development time we have available for a single update.

Nonetheless, I'll add it to the list of requests.
