Autopatch

Hello,
if  I want to create Lamps with the Autopatch in a Universe but Addresses are already occupied, the next available Address in the Universe is not automatically cached. Is it possible that all available Addresses are available to the Autopatch in the Universe used?

can you elaborate on this?
Autopatch does not fill gaps in a universe, but uses the free channels at the end.
