  unusual screen during startup
Posted by: Tom TK - 08-05-2021, 07:44 PM - Forum: Chimp General Questions - Replies (3)

Hi,
My console would not start directly to the chimp software, i have to connect a keyboard to press the F1 button to continue.
It says:  UEFI Defaults have been loaded,  Press F2 or DEL to Run Setup, Press F1 to Continue.
My Setup: Chimp 300 G.1 console, software version 1.12 beta, nothing connected but power.

The last thing i did was updating the software version to V1.12 Beta.

Any help would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Tom

  Timing in a cue
Posted by: LightDark - 03-05-2021, 11:56 AM - Forum: LAMPY Feature Requests - Replies (2)

I would like to use a cue delay timing as: delay time 0 thru 10. This to have 10 moving lights in a cue with a movement moving after 0 thru 10 seconds (fixture 1 moves immediately (0 seconds), fixture 2 after 1 sec, fixture 3 after 3 sec, et cetera).

  Fixture fader (MFF) behaviour
Posted by: LightDark - 03-05-2021, 11:47 AM - Forum: LAMPY Feature Requests - Replies (3)

If a fixture has a value in a cue and that cue is being played back from a Playback and I open the corresponding Fixture fader (MFF) of that fixture, that fixture's intensity jumps to 0%, in 0 seconds. If I press the "Clear" button, it jumps in 0 seconds back to the value of that cue that is still being played back.

I would like the Fixture fader (MFF) to pick up the value that it has in that cue and take control, i.e. if that fixture is at 80%, I have to move the Fixture fader to 80% first to lower it from there.

  Behaviour "Pause/back" button
Posted by: LightDark - 03-05-2021, 11:40 AM - Forum: LAMPY Bug Reports - Replies (5)

Lampy 20, 2 universes
Software Version
1.03

External touch screen connected:
Yes

No USB devices, no network devices

Short description of the bug:
In a Playback with more cues and all fade in times of 1 second, it does not always take 1 second to go back when using the Pause/back button. I see different behaviour in different cues. Sometimes it takes the values of that cue longer to fade in.

I did see that behavour as well with "Skip -", but that was not consistent. I could not always reproduce that. But I did also see that the values fade in immediately, but that it takes the graphics of the cue in the screen longer than the values to fade in.

How to reproduce the bug
I did patch 6 DTS Alchemy 5's and 6 Showtec Infinity TS300 WW fixtures, made about 8 cues with fading in intensities, changing positions, colors, zoom and played the cues back. All with 1 second fades, except cue 1 that has 8 seconds. Then I used the Pause/back button to go back. In some cues the Pause/Back button had different behaviour and did not go back in the cue time but a longer time.

What do you expect?
Pause/back going back in the cue time and Skip - going to the values immediately.

  Skip+ and Wait trigger
Posted by: LightDark - 03-05-2021, 11:27 AM - Forum: LAMPY Bug Reports - Replies (2)

Lampy 20, 2 universes
Software Version
1.03

External touch screen connected:
Yes

No USB devices, no network devices

Short description of the bug:
In the playback with a cue that is triggered by a "Wait" time, "SKIP +" skips the values of that cue if you press it before the "Wait"time has ended. Or, it does not load the values of that cue if you don't wait for the wait time to fade in the values of that cue.

How to reproduce the bug
In a Playback, have a cue with a "Wait" time and use "Skip +"

What do you expect?
Loading the values of that cue without having to wait for the "Wait" time.
