When I start up a saved show, all my programmed faders are rised up to 100% ( not  fysical, but the supper screenbar, shows in blue 100%), the output still remains zero.
I can only used a programmed fader, when I rise up the fader to 100% and then slide it back to 0, after that it will working normaly.
What goes wrong?

Hi,

Did someone noticed, that for example a pan/tilt effect engine "circle" , when you chose cw it will turn ccw and when ccw it will cw ?
Or is my mistake and should it be seen from the fixture side and not from front?

  Password / BIOS at Startup
Posted by: Ron - 09-11-2017, 11:31 AM - Forum: Chimp General Questions - No Replies

Hi Chimp Users,

sometimes we receive a question which password to fill in to proceed with startup.
this should of course not be necessary.

when you get the ASROCK UEFI Setup Menu during startup, or during reboot (see attached picture)
then the mainboard sees an USB device connected, preventing it to boot the software from internal drive.

so when this happens to you, please unplug all USB devices such as keyboards, mouse, USB stick, smartphone charger cables etc and shutdown the console on the back with the power switch.
wait for 5 seconds and power up the console again.

problem solved   Smile

  Chimp Freeze
Posted by: sneaker - 07-11-2017, 10:08 AM - Forum: Chimp Hardware - Replies (2)

I had a chrash / freeze the chimp yesterday. the screens internally and externally only flicker and the chimp stops responding, see pictures. It only helped by keeping the main switch behind. the same thing happened a few weeks ago. in the moment there was no input or work on desk. chimp just stood there.
is that a hardware defect?  Huh

  Preset
Posted by: Hans - 04-11-2017, 12:06 PM - Forum: Chimp Tips and Tricks - Replies (1)

Hai all
Is it possible to keep a preset running, without it will stopped by clearing the proggrammer/ press 3 t7mes clear?

E.g.: I set my mh in a p/t preset position, In live I changed the color and gobo, now I will clear the color and gobo to default, but I wont't change my p/t position, or is this only possible to change the home position of the fixture?

So I had to change the home position in case my rig is different than usual?

  Software Release V1.05 (03-11-2017)
Posted by: Ron - 03-11-2017, 05:40 PM - Forum: Chimp Software Releases - Replies (2)

Version 1.05 (03.11.2017)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a stable release introducing "Move in Black" as a major new feature as well as adding several smaller improvements based on user feedback.

Changes:
 - Added new functionality to Cuelist Table for "Move In Black" functions
 - Added new column in Fixture Library Editor Channel Tab to configure MiB Mode for each individual Fixture Parameter
 - Added new function to Cuelist Table for triggering remote actions when Cue is launched
 - Added new default MIB Fade and Delay Timing to Show Setup Timing Menu
 - Added new Commandline Function "Off + Intensity/Position/Color..." to release selected Functions from Programmer for selected Fixtures
 - Added new Commandline Function "Load + Intensity/Position/Color..." to load selected Functions into Programmer for selected Fixtures
 - Added LED Feedback on Highlight, Fan, Blind and Clear LED
 - Added new Cuelist Function to renumber all Cues to full Cue numbers
 - Delete mode "Delete All" now deletes the selected memory and all other executors and faders linked to it
 - Numberblock Cue Addressing has been changed. "Cue 1.1" now equals "Cue 1.100", "Cue 1.01" = "Cue 1.010" etc.

Bugfixes:
 - Fixed bug not restoring Playback Window correctly, when opened through numberblock Edit/Open->Cuelist command
 - Fixed bug not correctly showing current Outfade Time within the Cuelist Edit window for a newly created Cuelist
 - Fixed bug for Saturation Encoder in Color Picker and Color Fader Window: Saturation encoder could result in negative saturation value leading to invalid colors
 - Fixed Timecode bug: A newly created Cuelist with Timecode Cues wouldn't accept timecode without configuration update or re-opening the showfiles
 - Fixed Midi Input bug: "Enabled Midi Input" Checkbox didn't do anything. Midi Input was always enabled.

AtlaBase Library Changes:
 - Updated Fixture Library to latest release from 02.11.2017

  Shutter control (by fader)
Posted by: Hans - 22-10-2017, 09:02 PM - Forum: Chimp Tips and Tricks - Replies (2)

Hi,

How can I control my shutters by fader?
For example, I patched a strobe, then I  set my dimmer to a playbackfader, but how can I control my shutter (=speed) in live situations?
I prefer to put it on a fader or direct action by an encoder in playbackmode.

Now I changed the shutter in "dimmer2" but that's not ideal and the right way I guess.  Dodgy
Is there a solution?

ps. The same for al the shutters... e.g. moving heads.
