unusual screen during startup

Hi,
My console would not start directly to the chimp software, i have to connect a keyboard to press the F1 button to continue.
It says:  UEFI Defaults have been loaded,  Press F2 or DEL to Run Setup, Press F1 to Continue.
My Setup: Chimp 300 G.1 console, software version 1.12 beta, nothing connected but power.

The last thing i did was updating the software version to V1.12 Beta.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tom,

it sounds like the bios battery is dead.

You can most easily change it yourself, it’s between the big heat sink on the mainboard and the ram.
I believe (top of the head) that it is a standard CR2032.

After, just load the default settings and you should be fine.

If you prefer to not do it yourself, I am sure you can give Highlite a call and they can let you know the steps to RMA.

Problem Solved!

Got a new battery and now it is back to normal.
Very easy to do so i did it myself.


I've got an image of the message so if someone have the same thing they know what to do ;-)
