for next release could be great implement artnet dmx in ,and window for advanced routing.

My idea was table view  that show all 512 ch in a universe, and a tool bar with some buttons.

In my mind user can click on channels in table to select it, and then apply some preferences on selected channels with buttons on toolbar.

in toolbar we can find :
 -a drop down menu for universe selection

-a group of 3 radio buttons to choose different modes for selected channels:
.....MODE1: INTERNAL ->default settings for all parameters in all universes, in this mode channels will follow the chimp output
.....MODE2: DMXIN.     ->channels in this mode are listening from dmx in(even artnet).this in pretty good also for implement pixel mapping from external sw(e.g. Resolume Arena send rgb channels, while chimp control general dimmer and other parameters).
.....MODE3: TEST.        ->set fixed value for this channel without patching nothing(useful to test how dimmers are wired or to control ambient theaters lights).

I usually do venues where led wall or projector are installed.
to control it I use Resolumevia Artnet, but there are  lot of media server with dmx control.
to control arena I've created mi own layer fixture. my fixture is this:

ch1:dimmer1(control video opacity)
ch2:dimmer2(control audio level)
ch3 thru 5: R-G-B
ch6:choose item(is an index to layer content)
ch7:choose transition time
ch8-9:video fx 1-2 (depend on situation, generally strobe and glitch)

my request is so:
can we get rename parameters in fixture creator? 

if it's not possible,can we get new sets of parameters for media servers in fixture creator?
Especially :
audio->in dimmer
clip->gobo
fade->gobo
video fx 1 thru 4 ->gobo

tracking feature is very powerful, an it works great, but there are some missing feature that should be added :

-BREAK option ->selectable flag for the cue that say to chimp "hey, this is last cue following this sets of tracked cue, the next will tracking nothing".
in this way we can program new stage look from scratch .

-CUE ONLY option -> Another flag for cues. cues with this flag enabled should ignore tracking from previous cue ,but restore it in the next one.

Is important to see what's inside a cue.
this window could be table based view with heads on row and parameters on column (e.g. tables written in this post).
ability to change cue contents working on this table without load all cue in programmer.

TRACKING ON CUE CONTENT VIEW 
every parameter on this cue content windows should be colored differently : e.g.
green->values is higher  than previous one.
red->values is lower than previous one.
magenta ->values tracked.
blue->cue only.

Hi,

We've been using the Chimp for years and last year we bought the Chimp 100 G2 Tourpack. In order to prepare our shows we bought a Capture 2019 license. March the 20. we saw a post on facebook from Infinity saying the people who bought a 2019 license wil get a free upgrade to the 2020 version. Unfortunately we couldn't find any info confirming this. 
Does somebody have more informatie regarding a free upgrade from 2019 to 2020.

Hi,
I am looking for a fixture file for a Futurelight DMH 160 MK2 Moving Head in Standard Mode.

The database of the chimp only has the old version (without MK2), which seems to have a differnent channel layout. 
I am not sure how to set up some of the channels in the fixture editor, as there seem to be some channels with a dependendancy.

I.e. Channel 12 (Gobo) will have a fixed gobo if channel 11 is set to "normal gobo change", whereas channel 12 will control the gobo wheel rotatation if channel 11 is set to a certain value. 

Any advise is appreciated.

For some reason the infinity+S1, infinity+S2 & nfinity+S4  hotkeys on 1.11 version doesn't work!!!

after the vsit at Pan-Pro Lohne yesterday i have a look at the Highlite site for the German Chimp Tranings.

But next free termin is in June.... 

As already mentioned with Angelo at Pan Pro yesterday, it would be great if you could offer more training so as not to have half a year to wait. Or, if possible, to prepare training here in northern Germany at an authorized dealer. It would also be great if you didn't need a banana wing to expand the universes on the Chimp 100. For example a USB stick where you can e.g. could unlock one or two more universes and then spend them on Art Net. If you e.g. want to connect a DMX controller to the 100 to use the DMX IN, there is only one universe left for output. Since I am a one-man company, every other part should be as small as possible, e.g. a USB stick.

Or is it already possible to use a DMX socket as IN and then output the second unsiverse via Artnet? So that you can spend both universes and a DMX in?

Wie schon mit Angelo gestern bei Pan Pro angerissen wäre es toll wenn ihr mehr Trainings anbieten könntet, um nicht ein halbes Jahr Warte Zeit zu haben. Oder wenn möglich Tranings hier in Norddeutschland anzubeiten bei einem Vertragshändler.  Auch wäre es toll wenn man für die Erweiterung der Universen an der Chimp 100 keinen Banana Wing benötigen würde. Z.b. einen USB Stick wo man z.b. ein oder zwei weitere Universen frei schalten könnte und die dann über Art Net ausgeben könnte.  Wenn man z.b. einen DMX Controller an die 100 anschließen möchte um den DMX IN zu benutzen belibt nur ein Universum zur Ausgabe übrig. Da ich als Einman Unternehmen unterwegs bin sollte jedes weitere Teil möglichst klein sein wie z.b. ein USB Stick. 

Oder ist es jetzt schon möglich einen DMX Buchse  als IN zu benutzen und das zweite Unsiversun dann über Artnet auszugeben ? So das man beide Univsersen ausgeben kann aber trozdehm einen DMX in ?
