Error AtlaBase IW 741 'Control' section
Posted by: Karel - 21-02-2021, 05:51 PM - Forum: Chimp Fixture Libraries - Replies (2)

Hi there,
Running a Chimp 300.G2 (version 1.12) I ran into a problem with the AtlaBase Library for the Infinity IW 741.
When select 1 or more fixtures the 'Control' section gets greyed out.
Funny thing about this is that, when I import the fixture file provided by Highlite (when I was running the desk in version 1.11) it all works fine. So it looks like there's a problem with the AtlaBase Library.
Kind Regards
Karel

[Fixed in 1.02] All, v1.01 - Library / Show Import may fail
Posted by: denishessberger - 11-02-2021, 06:10 PM - Forum: LAMPY Bug Reports - No Replies

We have identified an issue in the software where files can not be imported again if they have been renamed after export.

As a workaround either set the name directly in the software prior to exporting, or if you have a file that was exported earlier where import fails:

Copy the file to another folder on the computer.
Rename the copy's file ending to .tgz
Unpack the .tgz using a Compression Utility such as archiver in MacOS or WinRar in Windows.
This will create a new folder named after the file. Open this folder. In the folder you'll find a .lib or .show file, copy and paste the name before the .lib or .show file ending.
Rename the file on the stick to this name.
Import again.

We have entered the issue into our issue tracking system, but no ETA on when this will be fixed yet.

Sorry for any inconveniences,

Denis

  MultiCell Fixtures / Fixture Request
Posted by: Sascha75 - 09-02-2021, 06:59 PM - Forum: LAMPY Fixture Libraries - Replies (10)

Hello everybody,

I got my Lampy 40 last week.
Unfortunately I have to find out that some fixtures don't work,
For us it concerns the following fixtures:

Stairville CLB 4 in 14 channel mode (included in 7 channel mode) we need 14 channel mode,

Cameo MultiPar COB 1 17 channel mode

lightmaXX VEGA HALO 90

Varytec Hero Spot 90

The Atlabase database contains you.
Please improve there.

We bought the Lampy 40 2 U because the advertising promised a lot and we wanted to get away from a PC version that kept crashing.
Basically the Lampy 40 is great, but if our fixtures don't work in the Lampy, then the desk is not an alternative for us and we have to return it.

A Chimp 100 is just not in our budget, we are a small band and 2500 € for a lighting desk is quite a number.
Could you realize that these fixtures are available in the Lampy 40?

Thank you
Unfortunately, my English is not that good and I had it translated with Google Translator

[Fixed in 2.0] Chimp 100, V1.12, fanning Values
Posted by: Tom TK - 31-01-2021, 08:54 PM - Forum: Chimp 1.12 Open Beta - Replies (2)

Running Chimp 100 V1.12 beta with one touchscreen connected and two dmx outputs in use.

When i try to fan my P/T position it only work when there are values in the programmer. Most of the time i make a base position (straight forward) and from there on i make my other preset positions. But when i want to use the fanning option nothing happens.

The name from the preset will appear in the programmer and then i cannot use the fanning options.
But when there are just values in the programmer the fanning works just fine.

This is also happening on the OnPc version that i use at home.

Hope this will be checked  Smile

Best Regards,
Tom

Is there such a thing as a "Go to Cue" function?
Posted by: Patrick E. - 19-01-2021, 03:01 PM - Forum: Chimp General Questions - Replies (1)

Good day everybody,
I am a freshly baked new Chimp 100 Tourpack user or am also new to the forum But I have a question right away and I hope you can help me.

I would like to explain it using the example.
I have several cues (moves or positions) on a fader and let's assume the active cue is currently cue 1. Now I would like to use a button to preselect cue 4, for example, but this shouldn't be directly switch over when skiing through, only with a "GO" command it should then pass from cue 1 to cue 4. I hope I was able to explain it well. If it is a simple solution, I ask for your indulgence as I am still learning. Since I was a pure DasLight user before. Is there such a function or could you add such a function to the wish list?

thank you in advance
Kind regards
Patrick
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guten Tag zusammen,

Danke vorab

MFG
Patrick

  [Solved] color delay timing
Posted by: Karel - 14-01-2021, 03:43 PM - Forum: Chimp Bug Reports - Replies (6)

Hi there,
Though I'm pretty new on the Chimp and learning more every day, I found a little problem with I think is a Bug. While creating some, single cue, delay timing I wasn't able to alter the timing option in color cue's. Intensity, position, gobo etc, are working as expected.
Chimp 300 On PC
Software version 1.12External display connected, no touchscreen
No USB connected
Reproduce; Select Group - Select Colour preset, here the Timing function gets disabled.
I Work on windows 10, with VM Ware 16 (non commercial use)
However I could make mistakes I don't think I did in the syntax subscribed above.
Kind regards
Karel

[Fixed in 1.02] Lampy 20, version 1.01, Encoders show fan options but cannot be set
Posted by: jjlinnemann - 14-01-2021, 01:27 PM - Forum: LAMPY Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Type of the Desk: Lampy 20 with dongle

Software Version: 1.01

Display Connected, is a touchscreen?: Yes, Dell P2418HT touchscreen

Connected USB Devices: keyboard and mouse

Networked Devices: connected to LAN, DHCP

Description: Fan options are indicated above the encoders, but cannot be set

Steps to reproduce:
- Select the Effects home screen
- Press the Fan button: the encoders now show fan options (like Grouping Fan, Direction Fan)

Observed Behavior:
If you have an effect set, parameters can be changed, but only by clicking the encoder and entering a value, not by turning the encoder. What you are changing are the effect parameters, however, not fan parameters.

[Fixed in 1.02] Lampy 20, version 1.01, Cannot set pan fan from position preset
Posted by: jjlinnemann - 14-01-2021, 10:17 AM - Forum: LAMPY Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Type of the Desk: Lampy 20 with dongle

Software Version: 1.01

External Display Connected, is a touchscreen?: Yes, Dell P2418HT touchscreen

Connected USB Devices: keyboard and mouse

Networked Devices: connected to LAN, DHCP

Description:
You cannot set fan for pan or tilt if you start from a position preset

Steps to reproduce:
- Select a few moving heads
- Select a position preset that includes pan and tilt values
- Press the fan button
- Select the Values home screen
- Now turn the Pan Fan encoder to fan the pan

Expected Behavior:
I would expect the pan to fan

Observed Behavior:
The pan does not fan initially. However, in the values screen, the tilt value changes from the preset to the raw value. If I then turn the Pan Fan encoder, the pan does fan. This bug only applies to the Pan Fan. If I change the Tilt Fan, it does work immediately.

Chimp 100 mit Banana Wing verlorene Kalebrierung
Posted by: Schmists-Events - 13-01-2021, 03:58 PM - Forum: Chimp 1.12 Open Beta - Replies (6)

Hallo Highlite Team,
