  Software Release V1.05 (03-11-2017)
Posted by: Ron - 03-11-2017, 05:40 PM - Forum: Chimp Software Releases - Replies (2)

Version 1.05 (03.11.2017)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a stable release introducing "Move in Black" as a major new feature as well as adding several smaller improvements based on user feedback.

Changes:
 - Added new functionality to Cuelist Table for "Move In Black" functions
 - Added new column in Fixture Library Editor Channel Tab to configure MiB Mode for each individual Fixture Parameter
 - Added new function to Cuelist Table for triggering remote actions when Cue is launched
 - Added new default MIB Fade and Delay Timing to Show Setup Timing Menu
 - Added new Commandline Function "Off + Intensity/Position/Color..." to release selected Functions from Programmer for selected Fixtures
 - Added new Commandline Function "Load + Intensity/Position/Color..." to load selected Functions into Programmer for selected Fixtures
 - Added LED Feedback on Highlight, Fan, Blind and Clear LED
 - Added new Cuelist Function to renumber all Cues to full Cue numbers
 - Delete mode "Delete All" now deletes the selected memory and all other executors and faders linked to it
 - Numberblock Cue Addressing has been changed. "Cue 1.1" now equals "Cue 1.100", "Cue 1.01" = "Cue 1.010" etc.

Bugfixes:
 - Fixed bug not restoring Playback Window correctly, when opened through numberblock Edit/Open->Cuelist command
 - Fixed bug not correctly showing current Outfade Time within the Cuelist Edit window for a newly created Cuelist
 - Fixed bug for Saturation Encoder in Color Picker and Color Fader Window: Saturation encoder could result in negative saturation value leading to invalid colors
 - Fixed Timecode bug: A newly created Cuelist with Timecode Cues wouldn't accept timecode without configuration update or re-opening the showfiles
 - Fixed Midi Input bug: "Enabled Midi Input" Checkbox didn't do anything. Midi Input was always enabled.

AtlaBase Library Changes:
 - Updated Fixture Library to latest release from 02.11.2017

  Shutter control (by fader)
Posted by: Hans - 22-10-2017, 09:02 PM - Forum: Chimp Tips and Tricks - Replies (2)

Hi,

How can I control my shutters by fader?
For example, I patched a strobe, then I  set my dimmer to a playbackfader, but how can I control my shutter (=speed) in live situations?
I prefer to put it on a fader or direct action by an encoder in playbackmode.

Now I changed the shutter in "dimmer2" but that's not ideal and the right way I guess.  Dodgy
Is there a solution?

ps. The same for al the shutters... e.g. moving heads.

  [FIXED] Screen Scroll
Posted by: Hans - 22-10-2017, 08:47 PM - Forum: Chimp Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Hi,

I offten get problems, when I want to scroll.
For example: I opened a preset page or cuelist view and want to scroll to a lower part of the screen and touch the sidebar and try to slide it down, but it doesn't work, I hoped the external keyboard page up or down wil work, but the don'nt.
How can I solve it?

Is it a idea in a update, to highlite the border of a touched screen button? So you're shure you hit the button you want?

  Intensity output delay
Posted by: Hans - 18-10-2017, 12:01 AM - Forum: Chimp Tips and Tricks - Replies (1)

Hi,

I noticed tonight, when I was discover the chimp, there wil be a delay to the intensity output.
F.e. I programmed a execute buton for my stageblinders , if I pressed the button I expect the output will be instant at full, but it takes a time.
In setup > timings, I set the in and output times to zero (input default delay is  1sec) the other parameters are still in default "fade"
What should I do to get a full instant output without delay, when I press my execute button?

  [DONE] Suggestions
Posted by: Marcellinio44 - 08-10-2017, 04:53 PM - Forum: Chimp Feature Requests - Replies (2)

Bonjour

  Connecting Chimp to Capture
Posted by: MatteoMagni - 05-10-2017, 03:22 PM - Forum: Chimp General Questions - Replies (8)

Hi!
Have someone tried yet to connect the Infinity Chimp 300 to a visualizer software, like Capture? If yes, which is the easiest configuration to begin?
I'm going to use it to program a show and I would like to ask you before, because it's the first time I connect the Chimp to another device.
Thanks.

  Infinity - IW-1915 - 14Ch./16Ch./34Ch.
Posted by: WesleyHouben - 24-09-2017, 11:34 PM - Forum: Chimp Fixture Libraries - Replies (3)

Hi Guys,

For the IW-1915 in advanced mode i use the attached file.
consisting of 5 parts the patching is a bit of a work-around but ill explain it to you guys.

So first patch 1 of each as shown in image 1 (patch or no patch does not matter)
Second make sure they align in Fix ID order also shown in image 1

Next select all you parts and clone the 5 parts as much as you need.
Cloning them will keep the parts in order and speed up your patching.
third make sure everything lines up in fix-id order shown in image 2.
Boom! you are good to go.

The first part controls PT parameters en de last part the zoom, dimmer and shutter.

Another tip to speed up programming is to group all your parts and zones individualy.
Select all parts for example 201 thru 220. then hit 1/5. Now every first part of a set of 5 is
selected. store this in a group then hit Next en keep repeating the proces. Voila easy accessibility.
(shown in Image 3)[/size]

Cheers,

As promissed, included is the file for the Mode 5 of the Robin 300 LED Wash PLUS.
In Mode 5 all RGBW parameters are at the end so it should not be a problem. just patch as
shown in the screenshot.

Have a good one guys
